The nucleus of ZMI started in 2014, when a group of executives created a music publishing fund to acquire and produce crossover recordings under the label: Arcadia Media & Entertainment.

Arcadia formed a relationship with Ingrooves / Univeral Music Group to distribute Arcadia's catalog, and soon the group was producing and releasing a mix of music, from urban to jazz, classical crossover and alternative rock.

In 2020 Zermatt Media Investments (ZMI) acquired Arcadia. The result was a UK holding company, rebranded ZMI Arcadia, focused on the management of music copyrights, with additional bandwidth for films, documentaries and multimedia projects.

Today ZMI Arcadia manages film, audio, literary, and music rights, and produces diversified multimedia under our various labels.
